Another hurdle cleared as Roleystone over 55’s village approved by WAPC

Another hurdle cleared as Roleystone over 55’s village approved by WAPC

More than two years ago, the Maguire family bought the former Roleystone Primary School site with plans to create a unique, community-centred retirement village.

It is with great pleasure we can now announce that today the Western Australian Planning Commission approved the local development plan put forward by the City of Armadale.

We plan to begin work on 12 built strata units and 27 survey strata blocks shortly.

Our special thanks goes to Kelvin Oliver (local resident of 25 years and former town planner) and Pat Hart (Convenor of Roleystone Seniors Housing and former Councillor) for their tireless efforts and belief in this project over the last eight years. We would also like to thank the City of Armadale for their open communication and guidance.

Lastly we would like to extend our immense gratitude to the entire Roleystone community for its invaluable input into the planning process. It has always been, and will always remain, our intention to create a space the community can be proud of, with the area designed and built in harmony with the existing environment.

If you would like to register your interest in the village, or simply have any questions, email us at info@abbieholdings.com or call 0406 748 661.

If you have already registered interest we will be in contact over the coming weeks.
